Build an instrument that can visualize the flight characteristics of a passenger that has a gamification effect and makes someone proud to fly with this airline.
Ideally, the passenger receives it as a poster, creating a memorable image
The idea
It all started with an unlikely source of crop circles. Thanks to Doug Bower and Dave Chorley depending on sources. Or maybe it were the aliens…
The point is to create a visual language that is mystirous to the eye but can be easily understood if the viewer knows the rules.
The process
Rule #1: There is a point of origin, the home harbor, and we draw lines from it to all the destinations.
Rule #2: The more the passenger flies that route, the thicker the connecting line becomes.
Rule #3: The longer the stay, the larger the circle around the destination.
Fascinating
Someone is flying a lot averywhere.
Someone had one long trip.
Someone is constantly on the move but not very far.
